Wines born of a passion for music
The name Arietta, meaning short aria or art song, expresses our belief that all great wines must sing. Both wine and song should “take flight,” in the course of which the qualities of balance, vibrancy, depth, overtones, and complexity resonate and give us a sense of exaltation.
Curious minds are never satisfied...
At Montelena, we question everything — convention, past methodologies, or how we can do something just a little bit better.
By asking ourselves why, we can better understand the path to how.
With a 14-decade legacy comes the responsibility for further growth and we refuse to rest on our laurels.
A unique Sonoma County gem
The name Fog Crest Vineyard comes from the dense fog that accumulates over the valley. The southeastern facing slope of the vineyard has sandstone-based soil that allows the vines maximum sunshine and drainage, yet the grapes ripen slowly due to the cool morning fog that drapes the vineyard. Our minority and woman-owned vineyard boasts exquisite Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Rosé.
Balance, restraint, and respect for terroir
the greatest wines are those that most truly reflect their soil, climate and circumstance (collectively referred to as “terroir”), and that it is the winemaker’s role to simply stand back and let the natural beauty of the grapes show through. We don't make great wine, we grow it.

Titus Vineyards is located in the heart of the St. Helena AVA at the base of Howell Mountain along the Silverado Trail in Napa Valley. In the last half-century, some of the Valley's finest wines, including Beaulieu Vineyards, Cuvaison and Charles Krug have originated from our historic vineyards. The documented history of the property extends back to 1841
Our Estate Vineyards - Caring for each vine by hand
There is something special—extraordinary, in fact—about making wine from estate vineyards. It means we painstakingly watch over our own vines, through wind and frost and scorching sun. It means we patiently farm each block by hand. It means we make every decision—day after day, vintage after vintage—to guide our fruit toward the pinnacle of its potential.
